The Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882 was the first significant law restricting immigration into the United States, specifically banning Chinese laborers from entering the country.

The federal government's push for Native American citizenship was part of a broader policy of assimilation. By making them citizens, the government hoped to integrate them into the mainstream American cultural and legal framework.

In legal and immigration terms, an alien is defined as any person who is not a citizen or national of the United States. While the term may have other connotations, it is the standard legal classification for non-citizens.

The U.S. Constitution requires that the President be a natural born citizen. A naturalized citizen is ineligible for the office regardless of how long they have held citizenship.

A natural born citizen is defined by being born on U.S. soil or being born abroad to at least one parent who is a U.S. citizen. This is a constitutional requirement for the presidency.

People migrate with their family to other city for job or education purpose. Government helps them to get admission for their children in good school. In some cases government open new school of different language for migrated children. 

Internal migration refers to the movement of people from one place to another within the borders of the same country. This distinguishes it from international migration, which involves crossing national boundaries.

Following measures can be useful in reducing the problem of migration:

Shifting of residential place from one place to another is called Migration. A migrant means one who has shifted from his birth place and settled in another place. There are many reasons for migration. Of the people who have migrated from one place to another,approximately 50%  do it for the purpose of marriage. 

A person is treated as resident of a country in the country in which his interest actually lies. It can be an individual living in the same country or in another country. If a person lives in foreign country he should live in other country for less than a year. It not only involves individuals but also involves institutions. Hence, the concept of normal residents applies not only to individuals but also to institutions.

People who migrate within the country as known as migrants. A people who moves from one place to another in order to find work or better living conditions is known as migrants.

The movement by people from one place to another with the intention of settling, permanently in the new location is called migration. Largest component of internal migration in India is rural-urban migration, which means migration from rural areas to urban cities. Therefore Most immigrants move to urban areas or cities.

Forced migration across the borders in order to escape war, persecution, or natural disaster creates refugees.

The process in which a person leaves his own country in order to settle permanently in another is called emigration. And the person is called an immigrant.
