G.V. Mavalankar (Ganesh Vasudev Mavalankar) was the first Speaker of the First Lok Sabha from 1952-1956. He had previously served as President of the Constituent Assembly and Speaker of the Provisional Parliament. C.D. Deshmukh was Finance Minister, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan was Vice President, and G.B. Pant was Home Minister - none of these were Speakers.
