The Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) is the official currency of Malaysia. It is subdivided into 100 sen and has been Malaysia's currency since 1967, when it replaced the Malaya and British Borneo dollar. The currency is issued and regulated by Bank Negara Malaysia.
