WHO WAS THE WRITER OF THE MAHABHARATA?

Ved Vyasa is traditionally credited as the author of the Mahabharata, one of ancient India's two major Sanskrit epics. He composed this monumental work around 400 BCE-400 CE, containing over 100,000 shlokas (couplets). Kalidas was a classical Sanskrit poet and playwright (famous for works like Shakuntala and Meghaduta), while Valmiki wrote the Ramayana, and Sushruta was an ancient Indian physician known for the Sushruta Samhita on medicine and surgery.
