The Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda Festival is Burma's (Myanmar's) most famous festival held on Lake Inle. It is a major Buddhist event spanning 18 days where four of five sacred Buddha images are placed on a royal barge and towed around the lake by leg-rowers. The other options are also Burmese festivals but not specifically associated with Lake Inle.
