Lotus Racing (the team that later became Caterham) used Cosworth engines in their debut 2010 Formula 1 season. As a new team on a budget, they chose Cosworth over the major manufacturers (Renault, Mercedes, Ferrari) who were more expensive and selective about their partnerships.
