This is a duplicate of question 5672. Sher Ali assassinated Lord Mayo on 8th February 1872, the first armed guerilla attack on British leadership post-1857. The Chapekar brothers' action came later in 1898.
On 8th February 1872, Sher Ali Afridi assassinated Lord Mayo, the Viceroy and Governor-General of India, while Mayo was visiting the Cellular Jail in the Andaman Islands — an act sometimes framed as an early armed act of resistance against British rule following the 1857 Sepoy Mutiny. The Chapekar brothers' famous assassination (of Plague Commissioner W.C. Rand) occurred in 1897, not 1898, and was carried out by the Chapekars, not Sher Ali, so both 'Chapekars' options misattribute the actor, and the 'Feb 1898' options get both the year and actor wrong.
