Which tree belongs to the Govt of India, even if it grows on a private property?

Sandalwood trees (Santalum album) are government property in India regardless of where they grow, even on private land. This is due to the tree's exceptionally high economic value and historical regulations dating back to colonial times to prevent smuggling. Other trees like babool, mangrove, or coconut trees don't have this special status.
