Kangchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world, is located in Sikkim on the border between India and Nepal. The state of Sikkim offers spectacular views of this peak. It is not in Puducherry (coastal union territory), Uttarakhand (Nanda Devi), or Assam (other Himalayan peaks).
