Mongol Cavalary Mainly relied on which Weapon?

The Mongol cavalry's most devastating weapon was the composite bow and arrow. Mongol archers could hit targets at extreme ranges with deadly accuracy while riding at full gallop. While they used other weapons, the bow was their primary advantage. Swords, shields, and lancers were secondary or used by different troop types.
