She was the daughter of India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and a central figure in Indian politics for decades. Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit was a diplomat (first woman president of UN General Assembly), not Prime Minister. Fathima Beevi was the first woman Supreme Court judge.
