Angel Falls in Venezuela is the world's tallest waterfall with a total height of 979 meters (3,212 feet). The waterfall drops from the Auyán-tepui mountain and was named after Jimmy Angel, a US aviator who crashed there in 1933. It is nearly 15 times taller than Niagara Falls.
