Angel Falls in Venezuela is the highest waterfall in the world with a total height of 979 meters (3,212 feet). It is located in the Canaima National Park and drops from the Auyán-tepui mountain. The other waterfalls mentioned are significant but not the tallest - Tugela is second highest at 948 meters.
