Phobos, the larger of Mars' two moons, orbits extremely close to Mars at about 9,376 km from Mars' center (about 6,000 km above the surface). This is much closer than the Moon's 384,400 km distance from Earth, Titan's ~1.2 million km from Saturn, or Enceladus's ~238,000 km from Saturn.
