Indrajit (also known as Meghanada), Ravana's powerful son who had conquered the heavens, was killed by Lakshmana during the final battle of the Ramayana. This happened after Lakshmana received the divine weapon and knowledge from Indra, making him the only warrior capable of defeating Indrajit.
