Chionophobia is the abnormal fear of snow, from Greek 'chion' (snow). It may involve fear of being trapped in snow, cold-related anxiety, or trauma from snow-related accidents. Scoleciphobia is fear of worms, Philosophobia is fear of philosophy, and Nelophobia is fear of glass. This phobia is more common in regions with heavy snowfall.
