The airplane was invented by Wilbur and Orville Wright, who made the first successful powered flight in 1903 at Kitty Hawk. Don Wetzel worked on food processing, Erik Rotheim invented the aerosol spray can, and Willis Haviland Carrier invented air conditioning.
