Jayadratha is credited with killing Abhimanyu during the Kurukshetra war. While the Kaurava warriors collectively attacked Abhimanyu in the Chakravyuha formation, Jayadratha prevented the Pandava warriors from entering to rescue Abhimanyu by using a boon he received. Drishtadyumna was Drona's killer, Aswathama was Drona's son, and Duryodhana was the Kaurava prince.
