The Government of India Act 1919 introduced dyarchy in provincial governments and is known as the Montagu-Chelmsford Reforms. Morley-Minto Reforms (1909) introduced separate electorates, the Regulating Act (1773) was the first constitutional reform, and Pitt's India Act (1784) established British Crown control.
