Ashtangika Marg (Eightfold Path) was propounded by Gautam Buddha as the path to eliminate human suffering (dukkha). It consists of right view, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right concentration. Mahavira founded Jainism, Adi Shankaracharya was a Hindu philosopher, and Kabir was a mystic poet.
