Buddhacharita is an epic poem in Sanskrit by Ashvaghosha, narrating the life of Buddha. It's one of the earliest complete biographies of the Buddha, written in the 2nd century CE. Mark Twain wrote American novels, Karl Marx wrote on communism, and Kabir wrote mystical poetry.
