Kumarasambhava is a Sanskrit epic poem (mahakavya) by Kalidasa, describing the birth of Kumara (Kartikeya), the son of Shiva and Parvati. It's one of Kalidasa's major works alongside Meghaduta and Raghuvamsha. Ved Vyas is associated with the Mahabharata, while Sivananda and Natwar Singh are not connected to this classical work.
