Padayani is a ritual dance form from Kerala, performed in Bhagavati temples in Central Travancore region. It involves elaborate masks called Kolam and is associated with the worship of Goddess Bhadrakali. Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka are not associated with Padayani - they have their own distinct ritual and classical dance traditions.
