The Hoysala Empire flourished from 10th to 14th centuries CE and is renowned for its exquisite temple architecture with intricate star-shaped platforms and detailed sculptures. Famous Hoysala temples like the Hoysaleshwara and Kedareshwara temples are located in their capital at Dwarasamudra (Halebidu).
