Rasamalai (or Rasmalai) is a popular Indian sweet dessert consisting of soft, spongy cottage cheese dumplings soaked in sweetened, thickened milk flavored with cardamom and saffron. It originated in the eastern part of India, particularly Bengal. China, Pakistan, and the USA are not its origin.
