Ozar is the location of the Vigneshwar temple, one of the Ashtavinayak temples dedicated to Lord Ganesha in Maharashtra. Vigneshwar means 'remover of obstacles' which is one of Ganesha's primary roles in Hindu mythology. Varadvinayak is at Mahad, Chintamani is at Theur, and Siddhivinayak is in Mumbai.
