Marco Polo was a Venetian merchant and explorer who traveled extensively through China, India, and other parts of Asia in the 13th century. His journeys documented Asian cultures, trade routes, and geography for European audiences. He did not discover Greenland (option A), circumnavigate the Cape of Good Hope (option C), or discover Canada (option D).
