William Janszoon (also spelled Janszoom) was a Dutch navigator who is credited with discovering Australia in 1606, landing on the Cape York Peninsula. Eric the Red (option A) discovered Greenland, and Leif Eriksson (option B) reached North America. Option D 'None of these' is incorrect.
