Schedule Ship Date is the date on which the quantity should be available for shipment from the supplier. This is different from Promise Date (when supplier commits delivery) or Arrival Date (when goods reach destination).
The Schedule Ship Date on a sales order line is specifically the date the ordered quantity is planned to be picked, packed, and shipped from the warehouse. It differs from the Request Date (the customer's desired date), the Promise Date (the date committed back to the customer), and the Schedule Arrival Date (when goods are expected to arrive at the customer's site), each of which represents a different point in the order fulfillment timeline.
