What entity comes after "Plant" in the SAP MM Organisation structure?
-
Storage Location
-
Purchasing Organisation
-
Purchasing Group
-
Warehouse
In SAP MM (Material Management) organizational structure, the hierarchy is Client → Company Code → Plant → Storage Location. Storage Location is directly under Plant and represents a subdivision where inventory is managed. Purchasing Organization and Purchasing Group are separate organizational units that are not in this direct hierarchy.
The SAP MM organizational structure flows from Client down to Company Code, then Plant, and then Storage Location, which is the physical sub-division within a plant where stock is kept. Purchasing Organisation and Purchasing Group sit on the procurement side of the structure and aren't a direct 'next level' below Plant in the storage/logistics hierarchy, and Warehouse belongs to the separate Warehouse Management structure, not the basic MM org structure.
