Who was the scribe of Mahabharatha?

Lord Ganesha served as the scribe who wrote down the Mahabharata as it was dictated by Veda Vyasa. According to tradition, Vyasa requested Ganesha to write the epic, and Ganesha agreed on the condition that Vyasa would not pause. Veda Vyasa was the composer who authored the epic, not the scribe. Valmiki wrote the Ramayana, and Vidura was a wise character in the Mahabharata.
