Sheikh Mujibur Rahman (often called Mujibur Rahman) was indeed the first Prime Minister of Bangladesh, serving from 1971-1975 after leading the country to independence from Pakistan. He is considered the founding father of Bangladesh and was a key leader in the independence movement.
