who invented Integrated Circuit

Jack Kilby invented the integrated circuit (microchip) at Texas Instruments in 1958. His invention revolutionized electronics by allowing multiple transistors to be fabricated on a single semiconductor chip. Robert Noyce independently developed a similar integrated circuit at Fairchild Semiconductor shortly after. Both are credited as co-inventors. This invention earned Kilby the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2000.
