Butane-1,2-dione is the correct IUPAC name for a four-carbon chain with two ketone groups at positions 1 and 2.

$-OH$ (Hydroxyl group) is the functional group of alcohol. Because, if we add $-OH$ to a Methyl group $(-CH _3)$, it will be converted to Methyl alcohol $(CH _3OH)$

The longest chain containing the ketone and alcohol groups is 5 carbons. The ketone is at position 3 and the alcohol at position 1, with a methyl group at position 4.

$2,4,6-trinitrophenol$ is picric acid while, $2,4,6-trinitrotoluene$ is $TNT$.

Picric acid is 2,4,6-trinitrophenol. It is yellow crystalline solid. It is an explosive. Wet picric acid is used as a skin dye reacting with proteins in skin to give dark brown color.
