Shift+Del (or Shift+Delete) is the standard shortcut for permanent delete, bypassing the Recycle Bin. Del alone moves to Recycle Bin, Ctrl+Del varies by application, Alt+Del is not standard.

F4 opens the History pane in Internet Explorer. F1 is Help, F2 is Rename, F3 is Find (Ctrl+F equivalent in some contexts).

F2 is the universal keyboard shortcut for Rename in Windows and most file managers. F1 is Help, F3 is Find, F4 varies (often Address bar in Explorer).

ALT+ESC cycles through windows in the order they were opened, unlike ALT+TAB which shows a visual selector. ALT+DEL does nothing special, and ALT+ENTER toggles fullscreen in some apps.

Lenticular galaxies are disk galaxies that have lost their spiral structure and appear lens-shaped. They have a central bulge and disk but no spiral arms, distinguishing them from both spiral and elliptical galaxies. The name literally means 'lens-shaped'.
