On a disk surface, a track is a circular path where data is written. Tracks are concentric circles on the disk platter. Each track is further divided into sectors. A cylinder refers to the set of tracks at the same position on multiple disk surfaces (platters).

To determine resolution quality, multiply width by height to get total pixels. Option C (1074x680) gives the highest pixel count at approximately 730,000 pixels. Option A has fewer pixels despite similar width, and options B and D have significantly fewer pixels. Higher resolution means more detailed images.

MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) is the standard protocol for communication between computers and digital musical instruments. It allows electronic instruments, computers, and other hardware to communicate and control each other. MIDI sends performance data (which notes, how hard pressed, duration) but not actual audio.

ASCII (American Standard Code for Information Interchange) is the standard character encoding scheme for representing text characters using bits. It uses 7 bits to represent 128 characters (letters, numbers, symbols, control codes). This was the foundational encoding system for computers before Unicode expanded to support international characters.
