A manometer is specifically designed to measure gas pressure, unlike a barometer which measures atmospheric pressure. Manometers can be open-ended or sealed and use liquid columns to indicate pressure differences. They're essential in laboratories and industrial applications for precise gas pressure measurements.

The ampere (amp) is the SI unit of electric current, named after French physicist André-Marie Ampère. One ampere represents one coulomb of charge flowing per second. Ohm measures resistance, while watt measures power - neither are units of current.

A seismograph is the instrument that measures and records earthquake intensity and ground motion. It detects seismic waves and creates a seismogram showing wave amplitude and frequency. Unlike a barometer (atmospheric pressure) or hydrometer (liquid density), the seismograph specifically captures earthquake vibrations.

James Arkwright (correct spelling: Arkwright) was involved in textile machinery, James Watt in steam engines, and Isaac Newton in physics.

John Logie Baird, a Scottish engineer, is credited with inventing the first working television system in the 1920s. He demonstrated the first working TV in 1926 and later developed color television. Faraday worked in electromagnetism, Edison in electric lighting and phonographs, and Marconi in wireless telegraphy.

Brijmohan Lal Munjal was the founder of the Hero Group, which established Hero Honda as a joint venture with Honda. Pawan Munjal is his son and the current chairman, but Brijmohan was the original founder.

The Soviet Union's Venera 3 spacecraft became the first spacecraft to crash-land on another planet when it impacted Venus on March 1, 1966. While it didn't survive the landing to transmit data, this mission marked humanity's first physical contact with another planet. Mars landings came later, with the Soviets' Mars 3 making the first soft landing in 1971.

Helium has the lowest boiling point of any element at approximately -268.93°C (or 4.22 K), just 4.2 degrees above absolute zero. This extremely low boiling point makes helium useful for cryogenic applications. Hydrogen, while also very low at -252.87°C, boils at a higher temperature than helium. Argon and Boron boil at much higher temperatures.

Maca root (Lepidium meyenii) is native to the Andes mountains of Peru, where it has been cultivated for over 2,000 years. This cruciferous vegetable grows at high altitudes (above 13,000 feet) in Peru's central region. While other Latin American countries have their own traditional herbal remedies, maca is specifically associated with Peruvian culture and agriculture.
