Kirkpatrick Macmillan, a Scottish blacksmith, is credited with inventing the first pedal-driven bicycle in 1839. His design added a mechanism to propel the bicycle through pedals connected to the rear wheel, a key innovation over earlier hobby-horses.

Sir Frank Whittle, a British Royal Air Force engineer, is credited with inventing the turbojet engine in the 1930s. He independently developed the jet engine concept around the same time as German engineer Hans von Ohain. Whittle's design used a gas turbine to produce thrust, which became the foundation for modern jet propulsion. Gottlieb Daimler is associated with internal combustion engines and automobiles, while Roger Bacon was a medieval philosopher, and Lewis Waterman invented the fountain pen.

Nicolaus Otto invented the four-stroke internal combustion engine (known as the Otto cycle) in 1876, which became the foundation for most modern automobile engines. Karl Benz is associated with the first practical automobile, not the engine itself. Roger Bacon was a 13th-century philosopher, and Alan Turing was a computer scientist. Otto's invention revolutionized transportation and industrial applications.

Benjamin Franklin invented bifocal lenses in the 1780s to correct both near and distant vision in a single pair of glasses. As he aged and needed reading glasses, Franklin grew tired of switching between two pairs and cut lenses in half to combine them. This practical invention remains in use today. Nobel is known for dynamite, Edison for the light bulb and phonograph, and Diesel for the diesel engine.

Michael Faraday invented the electric generator (dynamo) in 1831 through his discovery of electromagnetic induction. He demonstrated that moving a magnet through a coil of wire produces electric current, which is the principle behind all modern generators. This discovery laid the foundation for electrical power generation. Bell invented the telephone, Nobel is known for dynamite, and Edison for the light bulb and phonograph.

The 8085 microprocessor has 16 address lines (A0-A15), which allows it to address 2^16 = 65536 memory locations. Each address line can be 0 or 1, so 16 lines give 2^16 unique addresses. 8 address lines would give only 256 addresses, while 32 and 64 address lines are far beyond the 8085's capabilities.

The Intel 8085 microprocessor is housed in a 40-pin Dual Inline Package (DIP). The 40 pins include connections for power, clock, address lines, data lines, and control signals. 32 and 36 pins are insufficient for the 8085's requirements, while 42 pins is incorrect.

In 8085 assembly language, ANA (AND Accumulator) is the instruction for performing logical AND operation between the accumulator and a specified register or memory location. AND is not a valid 8085 mnemonic, ANI is for AND Immediate (with a constant), and ANC is not a standard 8085 instruction.
