Migration means the movement of people from one place to another with the intention of setting down their permanently or temporary. Employment is the first cause of migration of people. People migrate in large number from rural to urban area in search of jobs. There are several other factors of migration too like Political factors, natural factors, economic factors, social factors, etc.

Germany and Sweden are historically cited in geography texts as countries that were relatively homogeneous but experienced significant cultural shifts due to large-scale immigration.

The term migration refers to the shifting of a person from one place to another place either within the country or to another country in search of better economical opportunities.

World migration report is published by International Organisation for Migration. It provides services to government and migrants regarding migration. It was initially established in 1951 as the Intergovernmental Committee for European Migration (ICEM) to help resettle people displaced by World War II but now it became a related organization of the United Nations.

Migrants are those people who shift from one region or country to another region within a country or to another country, usually for work or other economic opportunities. Migrants bring with them their own culture and tend to form a different social community.
