The Caucasian race (also Caucasoid or Europid) is a grouping of human beings historically regarded as a biological taxon, which, depending on which of the historical race classifications used, have usually included some or all of the ancient and modern populations of Europe, Western Asia, Central Asia, South Asia, North Africa, and the Horn of Africa.

Mongol, member of a Central Asian ethnographic group of closely related tribal peoples who live mainly on the Mongolian Plateau and share a common language and nomadic tradition. Mangolian tribal people are found on the east side of Asia, Malai peninsular island and in America.

The village is a community because it's people have community consciousness. In the life of the villagers group feeling occupies an important place. A feature common to all the villages is that the villagers satisfy all their needs in the village. They have a sense of unity and a feeling of amiability towards each other. Thus, villages are evolved on the basis of One for all and all for one.

A tribe is a human social group comprising numerous families, clans, or generations together with slaves, dependents, or adopted strangers. A tribe, though classically based on a remote common ancestor and thus shared kinship, is typically a political or ethnic unit that shares a common culture, language, and religion. Kinship forms the basis of tribal social organization. Most tribes are divided into exogamous clans and lineages. The marriage among tribals is based on the rule of tribal endogamy. Marriage is viewed as a contract and there are no prohibition on divorce and remarriage.

 Urbanisation is an increase in the number of people living in towns and cities. Urbanisation occurs mainly because people move from rural areas to urban areas and it results in growth in the size of the urban population and the extent of urban areas. These changes in population lead to other changes in land use, economic activity and culture. 

The Coastal region of Karnataka is predominantly agrarian. More than 70% of cultivated land is under cereals with rice as the principle crop. Fishing is one of the major sources of livelihood with about one lakh people directly engaged in it and another two lakh in associated work. About 60%of people are indulged in agricultural activities earning their source of livelihood.

The Industrial Revolution changed material production, wealth, labor patterns and population distribution. Although many rural areas remained farming communities during this time, the lives of people in cities changed drastically. The new industrial labor opportunities caused a population shift from the countryside to the cities. The new factory work led to a need for a strict system of factory discipline.  Thus, industrial revolution changed the nature of Urban communities.

In India there are more than half a million villages. According to Max Weber, the German scholar, "India has always been a country of villages." 77% of the Indian population lives in villages. India is predominantly an agricultural country.
