• The International Code of Zoological Nomenclature(ICZN) is a widely accepted convention in zoology that rules the formal scientific naming of animals.

Binomial Nomenclature is the method of naming a particular organism by a single standard name known all over the world. The first word represents the genus while the second component represents specific epithet. The first word of the generic name starts with a capital letter and specific epithet starts with a small letter.
