Germany is bound by consumer protection directives of European Union. European legislation guarantees consumers the following opportunities:

• Fair treatment
  
• Products which meet acceptable standards
  
• A right of redress if something goes wrong
  

Below mentioned are the consumer laws of United Kingdom.

• Supply of Goods (Implied Terms) Act 1973: this act mainly deals with contracts for the supply of goods and for hire-purchase agreements, and limited the use of exclusion clauses.
  
• Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982: it is an act of parliament of the United Kingdom according to which traders have to provide services to a proper standard of workmanship. Any good supplied must be of satisfactory quality.
  
• Enterprise Act 2002: according to this act, major changes were made to UK competition law to achieve fair trade.
  

Present minister of justice and consumer protection of Germany is Heiko Maas. He is German SPD politician. He has been Federal Minister of Justice and Consumer Protection since 17 December 2013.

The objective of the right to information was to improve the transparency and accountability of the government of India. 

Under the Right to Information (RTI) Act in India, the application fee for requesting information is Rs. 10.

The Right to Information Act, 2005, was fully implemented on October 13, 2005, following its enactment earlier that year.

The time limit is 30 days from the date your application is sub,itted. 

The United Kingdom is a member of the European Union. Thus, it is bound by the consumer protection directives of the European Union. It also acts as UK's official consumer and competition watchdog.

Its not fully implemented in Jammu and KAshmir

The Right to Information Act was passed by Parliament on 15 June 2005 and came fully into force  on 12 October 2005.  With this law anyone can attain any information by writing an application.
