United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) came into force in 1946 and has its headquarters in Paris, France. UNESCO collaborates among nations on educational, scientific and cultural fronts to promote international peace and universal respect for human rights. UNESCO uses its funds in programs in five areas: education, natural sciences, social and human sciences, culture, and communication and information.

In 1965, UNICEF was decorated with Nobel price for "fulfilling the condition of Nobel's will, the promotion of brotherhood among nations" and playing the role of "a peace-factor of great importance." UNICEF works for child protection, child survival, education, gender rights among children, emergencies, innovation for children, supply and logistics, and research and analysis.

FAO stands for the Food and Agriculture Organisation. It is a specialized agency of the United Nation. Its headquarters is in Rome. Its main aim is to ensure food security for all the member nations. It also aims to eliminate hunger and malnutrition. It is responsible for making agriculture, forestry, and fisheries more productive and sustainable.

In 1946, ILO became the first specialized agency of the United Nations. ILO, as a specialized UN agency, is on a mission to promote workers' rights, reinforce decent employment opportunities, strengthen social protection and enhance dialogue on work-related issues.

The International Labour Organisation has its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. This office houses the permanent Secretariat and professional staff to carry out daily work under the supervision of an appointed director general.

ILO was created in 1919 by the Treaty of Versailles as an affiliated agency of the League of Nations. This treaty officially ended World War I between Germany and the Allied Powers.

Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) was founded in 1945 and is one of the largest specialized agencies in the UN. FAO works to eliminate hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition; bring about productive and sustainable agriculture, forestry and fisheries; reduce rural poverty; enable inclusive and efficient agricultural and food systems; and protect livelihoods from crises.

ILO works to influence national legislation in favour of improving working conditions and standard of living of workers in member countries. It also strives to provide workforce training, promote cooperative organizations and rural industries, conduct research on unemployment and underemployment, and protect the rights of international migrants and organized labour.
