Sugar mill is an agricultural based industry and a large scale industry. The first sugar mill in Rajasthan was established at Chittorgarh district in the year 1932. It was a private sector based industry. This industry is closed at present .

In December 1916, First unit at Lakheri in Rajasthan was started. 

Lakheri is a city and a municipality in Bundi district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is located in southeast northern Indian state of Rajasthan. It is located Around 180 kilometres south of the state capital, Jaipur. This is the second largest city after Bundi in the district. Mostly surrounded by agricultural lands & villages the most distinct feature of lakheri is a cement manufacturing unit of ACC [Associated Cement Companies] Ltd. This plant is the oldest running cement plant in Asia (1912-1913). But with the passage of time the plant has undergone expansions to incorporate the latest technology in cement producing. The latest expansion project being completed in April 2007.

The raw material for manufacturing cement are lime, gypsum and coal. This raw material is easily available in Chittorgarh district of Rajasthan. Hence it is an ideal place for flourishing cement industry.

Khetri Copper Complex. Khetri is situated at the foothills of the Aravalli Range, which hosts copper mineralization, giving rise to a 80 km long metallogenetic province from Singhana in the north to Raghunathgarh in the south, popularly known as Khetri Copper Belt.

The Geographical tourist places are nothing but those tourist sites that are present in nature and hence are called Natural tourist places. Sand Dunes of Jaisalmer, Jaisamand, Fateh Sagar, Pichola Lake, Udai Sagar Lake are examples of natural or geographical tourist sites of Rajasthan. The other geographical sites of Rajasthan include national parks like Ranthambore, Sariska, desert national park of Jaisalmer and Balmer etc.

Rajasthan is a place which holds a glorious sites of tourism which includes geographical, historical and religious site. It attracts people from all over the world. For the ease, the tourism of Rajasthan is divided into various circuits namely Jaipur-Ajmer circuit, Maru circuit and Mewar circuit.

Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) is an agency of Government of Rajasthan set up in 1978 to develop tourism in the state. Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation was given full status of industry in the year 1989. The logo of Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) is ‘Incredible state of India’. The Corporation organises package tours, fairs, festivals, entertainment, shopping and transport services.

Pushkar Lake is also called as Pushkar Sarovar. It is located in the pushkar town of Ajmer district. Pushkar Lake is a sacred lake of the Hindus. The Hindu scriptures describe it as "Tirtha-Raj" – the king of pilgrimage sites. Temple of Pushkar is located near Puskar Lake. The deity worshiped in this temple is Lord Brahma.

National Chambal Sanctuary, also called the National Chambal Gharial Wildlife Sanctuary is located on the Shore of Chambal River. It conserves crocodiles and alligators. Apart from this it also protects critically endangered gharial (small crocodiles), the red-crowned roof turtle and the endangered Ganges river dolphin.
