Synonyms

A 'highbrow' refers to a person who believes themselves to be intellectually or culturally superior to others. It describes someone interested in or associated with cultural, intellectual, or artistic pursuits considered sophisticated or elite.

Accession means the act of attaining or acquiring a high position or rank (like ascending a throne), formal agreement, or addition. Extension, Coronation, and Inflation all relate to growth, increase, or acquisition. Diminution means reduction or decrease, which is the opposite of accession.
