Sehwag did NOT score a century on his ODI debut. He debuted against Pakistan in 1999 and was dismissed for a duck (0 runs). His first ODI century came much later in his career.

Sehwag was indeed the first Indian to score a triple century in Test cricket. He scored 309 against Pakistan in Multan in 2004. This was a record-breaking innings that stood as the highest individual score by an Indian until Virender Sehwag himself surpassed it with 319.
