Hindustan Zinc Limited was incorporated from the erstwhile Metal Corporation of India on 10th January 1966 as a Public Sector Undertaking.

Imperial Bank (Presently State Bank of India) was nationalized in 1955.    RBI was nationalized in 1949. NABARD was formed in 1982.       

RBI, which is the Central Bank of India, was nationalised in the year 1949. It was formed on the basis of recommendations of Young Hilton commission in 1935. Imperial Bank was nationalised and named as State Bank of India in 1955. Fourteen Banks were nationalised in 1969.

NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development) was established in July, 1982. 14 Banks were nationalised in the year 1969 and 6 others in 1980. RRB (Regional Rural Banks) was established in the year 1975.
