The water cycle involves the evaporation of water from the hydrosphere into the atmosphere and its return via precipitation.

Lines joining places of equal temperature are called as Isotherms.

An isohaline is a line on a map connecting points of equal salinity. Other options refer to different measurements: isohyets for rainfall, isotherms for temperature, and isobars for atmospheric pressure.

Continental margins are areas where large amounts of organic matter from land and sea accumulate in sedimentary layers. Over millions of years, heat and pressure transform these buried remains into oil and gas.

Sea water typically has a slightly alkaline pH of around 7.5 to 8.4, whereas natural fresh water is usually closer to neutral (around 6.5 to 7.5) or even slightly acidic due to dissolved organic matter and carbon dioxide.

Water transpots consisits of all of these. India has an extensive network of water ways in the forms of rivers, canals, backwaters, creeks and long coastline accessible through the sea and the oceans.

 The  water transport consist of all the three types of transport.

Deep-sea shipping refers to the maritime transport of goods on intercontinental routes, crossing oceans. It involves long distances and is generally carried out by liner shipping services.

Inland waterway transport plays an important role for the transport of goods in Europe. It is carried out on navigable waterways like rivers, canals or lakes over which vessels of a carrying capacity of no less than 50 tons can navigate when normally loaded 

The coastal Navigation  would be the safe conduct of a ship where the navigator has the land on one side of his course and the open sea on the other,

Solar energy from the Sun drives the water cycle by heating liquid water on Earth's surface, causing it to evaporate into water vapor. Without this heat source, evaporation would cease, and the cycle would stop.

A river ecosystem includes both the surrounding land banks, which receive direct sunlight, and the flowing water itself. As sunlight enters the water, it is filtered and absorbed at different depths. This combination of open land surfaces and filtered aquatic light is characteristic of river systems.

Lakes are inland bodies of water that are almost always filled with freshwater. Oceans contain saltwater, and estuaries contain brackish water, which is a mixture of fresh and salt water. Therefore, lakes are the correct freshwater environment.

This environment supports diverse wildlife, including ducks that swim on the surface and turtles that bask in the sun. Estuaries and oceans contain salt water, while deserts lack abundant water.

Estuaries are coastal areas where freshwater from rivers mixes with saltwater from the ocean, creating brackish water. This unique environment supports specialized vegetation like cord grass, shrubs, and salt-tolerant trees.

Oceans contain saltwater with high salinity levels, unlike freshwater ponds and rivers. Estuaries contain brackish water, which is a mix of fresh and salt water, but not as consistently salty as the open ocean.

Water drives weather patterns on Earth through evaporation, condensation, and precipitation. The movement of water vapor and liquid water in the atmosphere is directly responsible for clouds, rain, snow, and humidity.

Water covers approximately 71% of the Earth's surface, with the vast majority of this coverage consisting of the global oceans.
