Vande Mataram, written by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, is India's National Song. Jan Gan Man is the National Anthem. Sare Jahan Se Achha is a patriotic song but not official. Maa Tujhe Salaam is a popular patriotic song from the album Vande Mataram, not officially designated.

A.R. Rahman composed the promotional song for the Taj Mahal during the New7Wonders campaign. This helped boost India's campaign for the monument, which ultimately became one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
