The Premier League has had 44 different clubs compete since its inception in 1992. This number includes teams that have been relegated and promoted over the years.

Arsenal won the Premier League in the 2003-04 season without losing a single match, earning them the nickname 'The Invincibles.' They finished with 26 wins and 12 draws, the only team to achieve an undefeated season in Premier League history. Manchester United, Chelsea, Blackburn, Leeds, and Liverpool have all won titles but with losses.

Newton Heath LYR (Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway) FC, which later became Manchester United, wore gold and green jerseys. These distinctive colors reflected their railway origins and were used until the club's name change in 1902.

The 'Busby Babes' was the nickname given to the young Manchester United team assembled by manager Matt Busby in the 1950s. The team was tragically decimated in the Munich air disaster of 1958. Chelsea, Barcelona, and Celtic have no connection to this term - it's specifically United's identity.

Chelsea signed Didier Drogba from Marseille (Olympique de Marseille) in 2004 for £24 million. He had just led Marseille to the UEFA Cup final. Option A (Lyon) and B (Porto) are incorrect - Drogba never played for them. Le Mans (option C) was his first club in France.
